Sunset Cliffs

I took these pictures several weeks ago (during the last day of 2011 in fact), but got so busy with my new job that I never had the time to edit them.  Sunset Cliffs in San Diego is one my favorite places- when I was in college, I went there all the time- to sunbathe, read for class, and contemplate life.  I had such a good time with my friends: Prestyn, Sarah, Brian, and Joe.  I highly recommend taking some time to visit this gorgeous place if you ever visit San Diego.

Christmas Cards for the Coad Family

A couple weeks ago, I raced to Newport Beach after work to take these pictures of the beautiful Coad family, who needed some photos for their annual Christmas card.  I had so much fun!  Even though it was a bit overcast, I think these came out pretty good (if I do say so myself).  We had fun goofing off at the beach, and they took me to a lovely dinner after.  These shots are all taken by lifeguard tower 19.  Enjoy!

Leaves and Autumn Love

Although we don't really have four real seasons around Southern California, I like to pretend we do. When I found some trees in my neighborhood that actually had changing leaves, I jumped at the chance to capture them in photos.  This impromptu photo shoot was completed in only 15 minutes, and my awesome little sister Stephanie agreed to being photographed only moments before we got down to it!  I can't believe how much she is growing up, in only a few short weeks she will be 17 years old! (which is making me start to feel old)
Also, sorry for the excessive amount of (similar) photos- it was too hard to pick my favorites this time around (she's just too gorgeous!).

p.s. dear friends, if you'd be willing to model for me- please let me know!

Honolulu Zoo

Today's post is all about the Honolulu Zoo - I wish I had more pictures to show you, but unfortunately I haven't carried my camera around since this outing (my neck was starting to ache - I really need to buy a new camera bag).  I love all the color around here, so about half the pictures I took at the zoo were of plants; I always find myself taking so many pictures of trees!  We are headed back to California tomorrow; while I will miss the tropical air, but it will be very good to be home.

Prestyn and the Pumpkin Patch

This post features one of my favorite people in the world, Prestyn.  She laughs at all my weird jokes that no one ever gets and unleashes her inner child with me on a weekly basis.  She's got the purest heart and the loveliest smile.  We had so much fun at the Irvine Regional Park Pumpkin Patch- it was super cute and very Autumn-esque despite the warm weather.  Also, isn't she gorgeous??
